Montepulciano is the flagship grape of the Abruzzo region and this is a very affordable and great quality example. Medium bodied with plenty of rustic fruit flavours, soft ripe tannins and fresh acidity. It's the sort of wine built for quaffing on a daily basis especially with red meat or spicy dishes.
